The Australian government made an historic apology this week (13 February 2008), spoken in parliament by the new Prime Minister, Kevin Rudd.He said the difficult but healing word ‘sorry’ that started the nation on a new journey toward the future. The Prime Minister continued:
A future where all Australians, whatever their origins, are truly equal
partners, with equal opportunities.
