Former Beatle Paul McCartney has compared his divorce from former model Heather Mills to going through hell in a recently published interview.Wanting to keep his dignity he remained tight-lipped about the proceedings but he did say the experience was "a very painful thing".
Recognizing the difficulty of going through a public divorce McCartney indicated where he looked for solace:
"But music is a great healer. Music is the therapy for me. In fact, going through difficulties has only concentrated my desire to make good music."
